We hooked up the VCR/DVD combo the way that the instructions said to. All that came with it were the AV cables, and they are hooked up from the audio and video from the combo to the audio and video to the TV under the AV1 input. The tv model # is 2499LC19KK44H05680. The VCR/DVD combo is Magnavox. The cable box is only attached to the tv.
